Wow, what a hectic week it’s been! I just got here on Monday afternoon, but it feels like it’s been much more than that since the days are a lot longer here. The combination of the long days and the excitement of wanting to explore the city has definitely not been good for my sleeping habits! Like I mentioned in my last post, I managed to avoid jetlag by sleeping through my flights, but jetlag is nothing compared to the daily routine of los sevillanos. 

¡He llegado en Sevilla! (Translation: I have arrived!)

I’M HERE!!! I’M HERE!!! I’M HERE!!!!! It’s 5 or 6am for those of you back in the states, but it’s nearly midnight here. What a long day it’s been!

Attempting to pack…
¡Ay Dios mio!

I am currently attempting to fit my life for an entire semester into one suitcase. Yes, you heard me right: ONE suitcase. Anyone familiar with my shoe fetish can imagine my struggles! :p US Airways is giving me a generous allowance of one checked back (catch the sarcasm?), but perhaps this is for the best. I’m sure I’ll be thankful for the lighter load once I’m carting my bags here, there, and everywhere without any help.
